Move to roommate with a friend and help each other out during these hard times!

It depends on whether you have a job in FL or not. Both states have been hard hit economically and you may have difficulty finding work, even in some of the "high demand" careers. Combining assets and resources is a great idea unless you will just add hardship to each other because one of you is employed and now two are trying to live on that one income. Visit, go on interviews, don't move until you know you can contribute.

It depends on whether there are jobs available for you in your friend's area of NC. You'd be wise to visit your friend and find a job first before relocating. Then, too, there's no reason you couldn't look for a roommate in Florida. A friend of mine moved from CA to Pinehurst NC a few years ago to be near her aging father but she couldn't find a job that paid her well enough. In the end she moved back to CA and back to her former job. Good luck.

Polk County , its just south of Orlando and east of Tampa, nice, cheap and central

Try and avoid the 27 and the 192. There are lots of estates being built there but they are mostly for Brits to buy and rent out. The plots are small and the whole estates are crowded. Try and avoid anywhere that has short term rentals on it or the whole of the summer will be spent living next door to two families cramped in a 4 bedroomed house screaming and yelling by the pool till 12pm every night. Ridgewood Lakes on the 27 is a bit different - mostly Americans live there and it's gated. I stay there on holiday. Also Davenport is an older community and there are lots of americans living there. Good Luck

I live in Florida. How can I sell my real estate property to the Government

I live in Florida. How can I sell my real estate property to the Government?
Is there any program out there that gives individuals incentives to sell properties to the government? A condo apartment or a house, for example.

Why would you specifically want to sell it to the government?
2 :
dont pay your taxes, they will get it from you

If you live near a hospital they may want to buy it to turn it into an office building. Why would the gov. be interested in your property????
4 :
what does the government want with a bunch of individual properties? I doubt it very much. they have enough for free from tax seizures

I do not have a source of income and also no support system. I am pretty much here on my own. I feel like I am running out of options and would love to know how I can fix the situation myself. This is a desperation move of course. Lol. I filled out the fafsa forms and was never contacted.

once you're 24 you're considered independent even if you still live with your parents. I suggest you look for a school and fill out the fafsa (www.fafsa.gov). you should be able to get federal student loans.
2 :
The first step is to file your FAFSA for free at www.fafsa.ed.gov, Once the government and school process it you will be send an award letter with what you are eligible for and how much. You will be eligible for student loans and you might be eligible for grants that you do not have to pay back. Don't give up and hang in there, you can do it.
