Is it a long shot to become an actress in California if I live in central Florida

Is it a long shot to become an actress in California if I live in central Florida?
I live in Florida, on the other side of America, thousands of miles away from California. Could I ever get a chance to do this when I live so far away? Will they even look at me?

you have a snowball's chance in you-know-where of getting discovered by hollywood. everyone out there has connections to the industry.

Florida has it's own growing pool of talent and is frequently visited by Hollywood directors who film there. Films like Edward Scissorhands, The Punisher, and a scene from Ocean's Eleven was shot in florida as well. There are currently two shows shooting in south Florida: Burn Notice and a new series called The Glades. Start building up your resume in Florida, and get an agent there. It's unlikely that anyone in California would be interested in you because I'm guessing that you have little/ no experience and no agent.

I live in California and it is a long shot for people who live here too. I'd focus on getting an agent because that can be harder than getting work.

i live in new york city the bronx and i want to get out of new york and i want to go either to miami or los angeles and i really dont have money and my parents either so can i take like a loan or if geta full schollarship? wich is cheaper to live in?

It depends. As far as data goes, Miami would be, but there are areas in LA where you can live more affordably. New York City is the most expensive city to live according to surveys, followed by San Francisco and the Bay area, then Los Angeles, although CA has the top 20 most expensive cities. where is the best place to live in Florida?
I am planning on moving after i graduate from college, which is in 1 year and 10 months, after I graduate I am planning on moving to Florida, and I would like to know where the best place is to live in Florida is? I would like something fairly cheep.

The cheepest is in the panhandle of Florida, towards Pensacola. It gets progessively more expensive as you work your way down the peninsula until your reach Miami/Key West...which is rather expensive. I suggest a small suburb outside of most any city.

The more north in florida you go, the cheaper/southern it is, the more south in florida you go, the more expensive/northern it is. North Florida is like georgia and alabama, and cheaper. South Florida is like southern california mixed with new york on a smaller scale but it is also more expensive than anywhere else in the state. It depends on what kind of person you are. If you like a quiet life I suggest north florida, if you like excitement I suggest south florida. Central florida is kind of a mix of both.

Where is the best place to live in Florida for someone who has cerebral palsy?
I'm 22 years old and I have cerebral palsy and I won't to move from Tennessee to Florida.But I was told that the only way that I could live out on my own was that of I would have to live in a assisted living program I was wondering.What are the best places in Florida for people like me to live?Thank you for your help.

my favorite place in florida would be on the gulf coast side across from miami, its usually warm there year round,,find a small town in that area with assisted living and go for it,
