How often should i water my 1-2 year old Japanese Juniper Bonsai, i live in florida and its summer right now

How often should i water my 1-2 year old Japanese Juniper Bonsai, i live in florida and its summer right now.?
i live in florida and its summer right now. i have had it for a couple of days and i leave it on a shaded patio but it still recieves light and heat. i just want to know how often to water it and how much water should i use. and i want to know how to make the trunk thick too.

Don't water it on any kind of schedule! Just check the soil (by sticking finger in it) if its almost dry - then water it.
