ow did peacocks come to live in Florida

How did peacocks come to live in Florida.?
Peacocks are native to India, so how did they come to live in Florida? please help plz b more specific then ppl brought em here

Peacocks are native to more than just India, but someone did bring them to Florida.

well its because ppl bring them here them they get adapted and then live there.

In the mid 1800's they became in vogue as "watchdogs" for the wealthy.

Man many years ago an idiot or group of idiots thought it would be cool to let them go in their neighborhood

They are here because people brought them here as pets...probably because they are beautiful birds. That's probably the most specific answer you are going to get...and that's the only reason they are here in Florida. I live in Tampa and there are quite a few in my neighborhood...
