Where are some nice places to live in Florida

Where are some nice places to live in Florida?
My best friend and I are planning on moving down to Florida soon because we want warmer weather and so we are wondering where are some nice places to live, with low crime rates? We don't need to live in a huge city, but we don't want to live somewhere where there isn't anything to do either. We were thinking maybe Winter Park but we're just not sure. Thanks!

winter park is nice, ocala is really good too

the sarasota-venice area is very nice and close to the gulf beaches

I live in South Beach and it is awesome! There's always something to do and crime is low. The beaches are wonderful. Bars and clubs stay open till 5am. There are many festivals. I am also always driving against traffic. After the real estate bubble burst, there are many vacant apartments here too so finding a place to live should be easy. However, if I didn't live in this part of Miami-Dade County, I would have moved out of South Florida long ago.
