Buy it from a woman, not a man.(the mature the woman the better) in case something bad, there will not be so bad.
2 :
look it over very carefully, look for mistmatched b ody panelsdifferent shades of paint. look under the hood for signs of body work, fender bolts having been removed etc, run a carfax, and spend a few bucks ($50-100) to have an independant mechanic do a "pre-purchase inspection"
3 :
The best bet is do a carfax report. Then take the car to a dealership, if it is a chevy, etc, take it to a chevy dealer. Have them to a used vehicle inspection. This is your best bet. Use a dealer of YOUR choice, not anyone that knows the seller. The dealer will give you a great report of the vehicle and they can check for the things that are known to go bad on the vehicle. This is why its good to take it to the mfg of the vehicle you are buying. IF the seller refuses to let you do this, then he is hiding something. I would do this on any car I bought used, whether it was private or a dealer.

"Lemon" is a term that applies only to new vehicles and only under certain circumstances, but I do understand what you are asking. How can I be sure I'm getting a good car. First ask to see the title. If there is no title, just leave. If there is a title, check the VIN on the title against the VIN on the car, you will find it through the windshield, drivers side and also on the door pillar. If that checks out, look to see if there is a legal owner listed. If there is, they owe money on it and it isn't theirs to sell. If not, make sure the plates and registration are up to date. If all that checks out, tell them you'd like to have your mechanic check it out and you would like to test drive it to the mechanic. If they say no to that, I'd walk away. If they say yes, have your mechanic check it. If it gets a clean bill of sale there, go ahead and buy it. Don't forget to call your insurance agent and have it added to your policy before you drive it after buying it.

It is your responsibility to make sure that what you are buying is a good deal for you. Tell the person that you want to take it to a mechanic, so that you can get a professional opinion. Mechanics have experience with many kinds of cars, and will be able to spot common problems. This is NOT, a waste of your time. Most shops will do an inspection for free, since it is good advertisement for them. If the seller objects, then there is something that they don't want you to know. Avoid the car. Check it out!!!

You will want to do your homework on the specific vehicle before purchasing. You can evaluate it's condition, do a Carfax report, and if possible, have a mechanic look at the car prior to purchasing. If you buy a used car private party, it will not technically qualify for lemon law. I will give you a link to a free walk through and you can email me if you have specific questions. IF YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE, MAKE SURE THAT IT IS NOT A FLOOD DAMAGED VEHICLE. THERE ARE MANY VEHICLES IN FLORIDA, HOUSTON AND DALLAS THAT ARE COMPLETELY RUINED.

Have you tried water only? I have a similar condition that occurs on one of my sidewalks because it gets no direct sunlight. I don't use any chemicals just high pressure water to blast it away. The reason for not using chemicals is that I prefer to be a little more eco responsible where possible and I don't want the chemicals to affect my plants.
2 :
You can get a concrete cleaning solution in the cleaning supply section at a home improvement store. Or, you can try spraying something like Tilex on the sidewalk before pressure washing with just water.
3 :
Cheap way, soap and bleach. There is a product called deck wash that has an algaecide in it that may have a longer lasting effect.

Bleach works. That green slimy stuff is mold. It grows everywhere in FL, you can't leave anything outside. It should be our state flower, lol.

I live in Florida, what would be best to plant at the corner of my pool for privacy

I live in Florida, what would be best to plant at the corner of my pool for privacy?
Something quick-growing, it needs to get to about 10 feet tall. Suggestions, please.

There are many things you can plant. Morning glories...Vines of any sort. I suggest you put up a lattice trellis or folding screen and place a potted plant until the vine grows to your satisfaction. Even hang plants from the lattice or other decor that does not require maintence. Attach sconces to the lattice for moon light swims. Put a gazing ball on a pedestal Get some hanging globe planters. http://www.buyugifts.us/giftsandcollectibles/images/37733.jpg You don't want to put a tree there to close to the pool.

Viburnum is a fast growing and thick leaved shrub. It is commonly used in hedges in Florida. It is what I have.

You mean you support the Arizona law that has local LEO's check to see if people are here legally during traffic stops if they suspect they're not? Glad to hear it. We need it here in Florida too.

That's nice. Did you have a question? Incidentally, how does "I am in favor of honoring the parents place of birth" work? So you mean an immigrant to the US cannot pass on citizenship to their children because THEY were born elsewhere? So only third generation immigrants can become citizens? I hope what you meant to say was that only children born in the US of legal residents (or perhaps citizens) can be natural born citizens? Frankly, that's what most countries in the world use as their citizenship criteria. The only real reason that the US does it differently is due to the 14th Amendment, a Constitutional mistake which was never intended to grant citizenship to the children of non legal residents.

I don't know you, but if you take a look at your last name, you will see that it is not Red Corn, Light Foot, or Dances with Wolves, so your ancestors came from somewhere other than the USA. If that was the case back when your ancestors came to the USA you would be living in a different country. Think about this before you start throwing stones. You so called American people make me laugh, get out of MY country you immigrants! Whites, Blacks, Asians, Mexicans etc.. etc...
