I am 15 years old and i plan on going to florida state after i graduate high school, the problem is out of state tuition is 17 grand and in-state is only 3, so i was wondering how long i have to live in florida before i am a classified resident of florida?

In order to qualify as a Florida resident, you have to live in Florida for 12 months. However, you have to be supporting yourself during that time. You cannot be dependent on your parents financially and establish residency. Tax returns are required to establish residency for tuition purposes. Good luck
