Seminole! I love that place, my Grandparents used to go there every winter. My Grandpa died like 2 years ago but my Grandma still goes down there to live in the winter. It's a beautiful city, just the right size!

No part of Florida is safe from a hurricane. I live in Florida.

well the whole state of florida is a large thin peninsula sticking in the ocean so don't count on being out of hurricanes way. the less damage would be somewhere in the middle but still rain and damage. i've lived in florida in a couple spots and it's not a good place to go really unless you have money. u go to miami and have lots of money or are young and go to miami beach. that's what i did for a spell. some people like jacksonville....meh...

Anywhere in the Orlando area would be good. Yes, you will still be affected by Hurricanes, but the damage will be less due to it being further inland and the hurricane has a chance to weaken by the time it reaches you. Altamonte is also in the Orlando area and any suburb of Orlando would be a good location. Like any big city, there will be bad areas, but they can be easily avoided.
