Can the gun be transported by air? Who performs the background check? He's not an authorized dealer.

You buy it, they receive the money, they call UPS or FedEx and pack it in a box (without any ammo) and send it to you.

Yes you can buy the gun,,and yes it can be transported by air..What you would do is have the seller ship the gun freight collect ,C.O.D. ( cash or certified check upon delivery.. Which protects him and you.. Its a costly way to do business,,but he is not going to send you his gun,,without some guarantee of payment,, and you would be a fool to send him the cost of the gun,,and trust he will send it..He sends it to you insured,,collect,,C.O.D. and everyone is protected..The only reason you could not buy the gun,,is if you are a convicted felon,,or guns are illegal in your state.. You can ship it by UPS Air, Fed X,, Or even Air Line Air Freight ..(meaning he takes it to the air line of choice,,and you pick it up at the air line at the airport.. Good Luck !! SOLOMON
