Do i need a heater for my tropical fish tank if i Live in South Florida?
I live in florida and i'm planning to get 3 panda corys and 3 otos for my 10 gallon tank. it's always pretty warm here and my house is always warm b/c of A/C or Heating. Do i really need to get a heater for my fish tank?

I would say you're fine. Just have a thermometer on your tank to watch the temperature yourself. If it fluctuates too much, especially at night, you should invest in a small heater.

you could risk not getting one, but if it reaches cold, then there's really no way to heat the tank without heating your home.

Make sure you moniter the temp. but I don't think you need a heater. I live in CO and my fish are good all year.. although this summer I had to fill the tank with ice (in bottles) to cool it down some. Just keep the temp constant and you'll be fine.

its recommended but if i was you i prob wouldnt get one.... but just to be safe get one... a 10 gallon filter isnt too expansive.. get a cheap one cause of your weather.

Honestly, you need a heater no matter where you live. It's not really the temperature that bothers the fish, but the changes in temperature. The temperature in your home between daytime and night time will change quite a bit, especially with Winter coming up. It's best if you have a heater to keep the temperature stable.
