It's 10:43 am in Florida (I'm here too) and it's 8:43 am in Utah. They are Mountain Standard Time.

Look on any U.S. Map and it should have to time lines, Utah is 3 hours away from Most of Florida. The line run down through west Florida. in the pan handle. so they would be 5:00 A.M in Utah when it is 7:00 A.M in Florida

There is a 2 hour difference from where you are and Utah. Florida: Eastern time Utah: Mountain time...2 hours behind Where I live,Nevada: Pacific time...3 hours behind

Is Miami Florida a good place to live in

Is Miami Florida a good place to live in?
Im only 13 but ive known since I was 5 that i wanted to live in florida by the beach somewhere. Im thinking Miami, because i don't wanna live by a bunch of retired old people, but i don't want to be completely isolated by people so i want a place with a lot of people. But is that a good place to live? Are there many hurricanes?

Miami, FL is good...for young people like yourself. Or for really old people but anything in between, no. There are a lot of people there, especially South Beach [[but u gotta wait till ur 21 to hit the clubs]], the people are beautiful and YES! there are hurricanes, that is about the only downside to living in Miami.

im from miami and its beautiful of course, but you need to be okay with being in constant humidity and heat. if you like that, its perfect. but most people dont. hurricanes do happen, but theyre fun! like our snow days hahah

Oh..young one. Please save yourself the trouble and consider other Florida locations. Miami is HIGHLY over rated when it comes to living. If you're a young single person who can AFFORD to live on Miami Beach, then sure you'd love it. Otherwise....don't bother. The people in Miami are unbelievably rude, ignorant, self-centered, horrible drivers, I could go on and on. And if you don't know Spanish, you'd better learn it before you come down!

What do I file for tax returns if I live in Florida

What do I file for tax returns if I live in Florida?
I am planning on moving to Florida for 6 months. The other 6 months I will reside in Rhode Island. What determines my residency? Does Florida have State Tax Returns that need to be filed? Are there any websites where I can read up on this? Thanks!

If you maintain a residence in each state, then you are a part year resident of each state, and each state will tax the income you make in that state only. The good news is that Florida doesn't have an income tax. The bad news is that they have a tax on your intangible assets like stocks, bonds, and other assets. So they like people who work there and punish those who want to retire there. So if you are working there half the year, you have it made - no income tax on that money!
