I live in Florida, Can you get your permit in a different county than you live in

I live in Florida, Can you get your permit in a different county than you live in?
I live in Florida, and I took my permit exam online. The DMV where I live is always super packed and is always hours of waiting. The DMV in the neighboring county is always empty and quick to get in and out. I wanted to know if I could go to the other county than I live in to get my permit license. Thanks.

Why not .

You can go to any DMV location. It's a state thing; not a county/city thing.

What are some nice places to live in florida?
I'm looking to move to florida, I'm looking to live either on the east coast of florida near the beach, or a place in the woods by a lake, where are some towns like this down there? I'm a single guy with no kids or anyhting either.

Oxymoron. There are no nice places to live in Florida. I have one son in Melbourne (East Coast) and another in Tampa (West Coast). Humidity is horrible. Topography is horrible. What lakes, they are call swamps for a reason.

Well, that's obviously a subjective question (^and answer!!!) I love the heat and humidity, so if that's for you, you'd like Florida. I really love the Keys, especially the Lower Keys, like past Marathon and into Key West. Great place for a single guy, lots to do, beautiful scenery, etc. I should point out, though, that the Keys are not famous for their beaches, and they are not the best I've seen. Other places in FL would be better if you want a truly pristine, beautiful beach.

Everyone that answers this question will have a different opinion. I like the Emerald Coast from Panama City to Pensacola. So no real right answer or wrong answer, just opinion.
4 :
We live in Tampa and are moving closer to the beaches near Clearwater. I like this area because there is plenty to do in the Tampa area but i like to avoid that area because the traffic. Clearwater is more of a smaller city and the beach is beautiful. The sand is very fine and is white.

anywhere affordable to live in florida where it is always warm

anywhere affordable to live in florida where it is always warm?
I cannot stand the cold, anywhere in Florida that is always warm, year round, and is slightly affordable to live in? Maybe even places in Hawaii?

Lots of places. Real cheap in the interior. There is something for every price range, from swamp land to South Beach or Longboat Key.

Though Hawaii was the only one of the 50 states that didn't have snow last Friday, I can vouch for the beautiful Florida Panhandle. I live near Pensacola, Fort Walton Beach and Destin. I love it. We are up in country where there is wonderful canoeing and fishing, and we are high enough to not worry about hurricane storm surges. Less than half an hour south are the world's most beautiful sugar-white beaches and emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. While we have some cool days in January and February, most of the year it is quite warm. I start swimming in the lake behind our house in mid-March. Last year I could swim outdoors all the way through October. I doubt you will ever find a place that is absolutely clement all year long, but if you don't mind hot, humid summers, this is a fine place. (Thank goodness for A/C!)

My sister lives in St. Petersburg, FL and she has a 3 bedroom HOUSE with a yard for $1,250 a month!! ... and that's near the beach! I'm begging my husband to go, I HATE the freezing cold and he won't go. You're lucky to find a 1 bedroom apt around here for $1,250 a month.

Where are the best places to live in Florida

Where are the best places to live in Florida?
I wanted to move down to Florida with my boyfriend after we graduate high school. We're gonna go to college there, and we'd like a nice apartment/condo to live in off campus. Any nice neighborhoods?

If you're looking for beach, good schools, higher price of living then South Florida is nice (West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Boca) Ft. Lauderdale is slightly more expensive but also a huge city just like West Palm. Central Florida-Orlando, Tampa, great downtown scenes and less expensive, younger crowds. Many cities are very similar in Florida and if it's not an expensive beach town, it will have neighborhoods that are sketchy but cheaper. Good luck!

1. Thornton Park - trendy, youthful, in downtown Orlando TripAdvisor: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g34515-d292634-Reviews-Thornton_Park-Orlando_Florida.html Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=&ns=1&find_loc=Thornton+Park%2C+Orlando%2C+FL 2. Winter Park - affluent, historic, north of downtown Orlando TripAdvisor: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g34747-Winter_Park_Florida-Vacations.html Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=&ns=1&find_loc=Thornton+Park%2C+Orlando%2C+FL#find_loc=Winter+Park,+Orlando,+FL 3. Baldwin Park - newer, young families, small town feel, northside of downtown Orlando Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=&ns=1&find_loc=Thornton+Park%2C+Orlando%2C+FL#find_loc=Baldwin+Park,+Orlando,+FL 4. Celebration - conservative and safe, elaborate events, older crowds, south of Orlando next to Walt Disney World TripAdvisor: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g34127-Celebration_Florida-Vacations.html Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=&ns=1&find_loc=Thornton+Park%2C+Orlando%2C+FL#find_loc=Celebration,+FL Don't stray too far from one of the areas. Orlando has a lot of not-so-nice neighborhoods.
